Renault is a French automaker producing cars, vans, buses, tractors, and trucks.  Renault has an alliance with Nissan Motor Company.  The company is headquartered in Boulogne-Billancourt, Renault owns the Romanian automaker Automobile Dacia and the Korean automaker Renault Samsun Motors.  The most successful car manufactured to date is the Renault Clio and the Renault Laguna. The Renault was founded in 1899 as Socie’te’ Renault Fre’re’s by Louis Renault and his brothers Marcel and Fernand.  The first Renault car was named the Renault Voiturette 1 CV. The car was sold to a friend of the boy’s father on December 1898. The boys realized that the success that they would achieve by motor racing and decided to enter their cars in the city to city races that were being held in Switzerland.  The Renault has become world renowned for its ability to win races. Many people like the car because it is small, have lots of power, and it looks very grand. It is manufactured in different parts of the world and imported to the consumers in the United States.

The consumers in the United States enjoy the luxury models built by Renault. They like the way that it handles and the fact that it usually takes very little repair if any. It is easy to pick up a part when needed but seldom needs any major repairs. The vehicle is built to last a life time and that is why most consumers are not afraid to buy this foreign made vehicle. It is made for speed as well and has been used in some of the American movies to depict this ability. Usually the types of movies are spy movies or movies that are made overseas that depict adventures. The vehicle is well worth the price being charged today on the market.
