Hyundai Motor Company is a division of Hyundai KIA Automotive Group from Seoul Korea. They are the world’s largest automaker by profit and the world’s fourth automaker by units sold. The vehicle is made to suit the needs of the American people as well as people all around the world. Many people enjoy the beautiful Sonata. The Hyundai logo, a slanted, stylized ‘H’ symbolizes the company shaking hands with its customer. Hyundai translated means “modernity”, and is pronounced as “Hyon-dae” in Korean. Chung Ju-Yung founded the Hyundai Engineering and Construction Company in 1947. The Hyundai Motor Company was later established in 1967. Their very first model was released in cooperation with Ford Motor Company and the vehicle was named the Cortina and was released in 1968. The midsize Sonata was one of the first vehicles released in the United States. Chung Mong Koo took over the company when his father retired in 1998. After he took over he then got permission to manufacture vehicles in the United States. Many Americans enjoy the vehicles using them for family car.
